Hey there, how's it going? I know it's been a really long time since I've put a post out and, I'm sorry. It's been a challenge to juggling being a dad and the primary cook of house with helping clients and growing the business, but that's life and we need to adapt. Today's video/post talks about how everyone has a "sport" they play.
I don't mean that everyone is a professional athlete or plays in a league on the weekends. I mean that we all doing something that involves us to perform primal movements. Primal movements include: squatting, bending, lunging, pushing, pulling, twisting, walking, running or sprinting. Like it or not, we are performing at least one of these movements everyday.
In the video I talk about how important it is that our workout routine make us better and more functional in our everyday activity or sport. For example, someone who has to bend down and pick things up a lot, would greatly benefit from the deadlift. An electrician who does a lot of overhead work would benefit from overhead presses and core work.
